A repeat client came to me recently wanting a custom poster for his son’s room based on a photo he took:
He wanted it big with a white frame, and left it up to me in terms of style. It was a good opportunity to get out of my comfort zone and try something new. After a few hours of trying many different things, I just couldn’t find the right thing. I also dabbled in the low-poly style that’s trending, but it also didn’t feel right.
Finally, after a night of sleep; simple shapes, with a pop of colour was what I had in mind – so I combined triangles and simplified contours. I was satisfied with the result. And so was my client!
This client also owns a barbershop, so if you need a fresh cut, stop by his shop!
